something.â
Lex bowed and said, âYes, master.â
Alex pulled Lex back up and said, âItâs fine, youâre getting on with age so you donât have to bow every
single time you talk to me! Oh, and stop calling me master. All these titles just confuse me! Just call me
Mr. Rockefeller from now on!â
âYes, masterâ¦Mr. Rockefeller.â
âBy the way, hereâs your card.â
Alex was returning a black bank card with ten billion dollars inside. Lex was shocked. âThis is your
pocket change! How could you not have money in this economy?â
To which Alex replied, âIâve already transferred 30 million into my account. This card is just way too
eye-catching and ten billion is too much. If my wife or mom ever finds out about it, I wouldnât know how
to explain! Besides, if I really need more money, Iâll inform you.â
Lex nodded. âSorry, that is very inconsiderate of me! Madame and Ladyâs safety is our top priority. I will
be more careful in the future. I promise to never reveal your relationship with Thousand Miles
Conglomerate.â
âThatâs more like it! Okay, back to business. Iâd like you to investigate the driver who was involved in my
parentâs accident, Anthony Pattingson. I suspect that he was ordered to do so.â
Lex furrowed his eyebrows. âIâve investigated this person, he didnât seem suspicious. However, Iâll try to

Meanwhile, a young man in tattered clothes stumbled into Rockefeller Manor. That man was Spark
Rockefeller.

Noahâs wife and the head of the Rockefeller family, Bill.
âSpark, where have you been for the past few days?â Johnâs wife, Olivia Banks asked as she hugged
Spark. She looked heartbroken as tears welled up in her eyes. âWe couldnât find you at all. Our calls
couldnât go through too! I was going to report you as a missing person already!â
âAlex, it was Alex. I want him dead! I want him f*cking dead!â Spark screamed, slurring his words. He
looked like a wounded beastâhalf of his teeth were missing and his gums were swollen. It was difficult
for him to even speak.
âWhat happened?â Oliviaâs eyes were filled with fury.
After Alex broke Scarfaceâs legs, he went to Waltz for back up.
However, he didnât expect Alex to be Lord Lexâs honored guest.
Hence, the group captured Spark and beat him up. He was even locked up for two days before he
could escape.
Some of his bones were fractured as well.
John was furious when he heard what happened. He wanted to kill Alex right there and then. Suddenly,
the head of the family, Bill said, âAlex, you bastard! Iâll have both you and your mother dead in a ditch
for hurting my grandson!â
As soon as he finished, Bill suddenly collapsed.
They immediately sent him to the hospital. Apparently, he had become paralyzed from the neck down
and would have to spend his remaining days in bed.
âWhy? Why did this happen?â
âItâs all because of that bastard, Alex! I want him dead!â John thought to himself. He called for his
bodyguard as his eyes became filled with murderous intent. âBrock, go get Alex and his mother. I want
both of them kneeling before me by tonight!â
